What is a family session?

A family session is just you guys and me taking some fun pictures.  We pick a location that is easy for everyone. These sessions tend to be on the casual side and can ebb and flow as need be. Family sessions are meant for just your immediate family. If you would like a portrait taken of several families, please contact me for pricing.

How much is a family session?

A family session is $350 (plus tax) and includes  one hour of on-location photography, an online gallery of 25 images and digital downloads.

How long is a family session?

Family sessions are usually around an hour. If more time is needed (and possible), it can be added at the time.

What do we wear for a family session?

I always like to tell people to coordinate but not match. Think about the type of feeling you want from your photos:
do you want soft beautiful photos? consider outfitting everyone in nice neutrals. Not all white shirts but maybe soft ivory and grey.
Is your family fun and active? Consider bright colors that look good together and show your playfulness! 😉

How is a newborn session different than a family session?

We all know newborns have a mind of their own. And you HAVE to cater to them.
Because of this these sessions can take a bit longer and are done in your home. Our typical newborn session is a combo of both posed and lifestyle photos. Generally we do one nice posed photo (these take time) and then take some nice shots of your guys and your new little one. We also love to document your life at this awesome time.
Newborn sessions take patience and time 😉 Babies need to stop for feedings and explosions and fussiness – all things we know and expect 😉

How much is a newborn session?

Newborn sessions are $500 (plus tax). This includes up to two hours, an online gallery and  25 digital downloads. If we need more time, it can be paid for after the fact.
